Shakib Al Hasan, on his first visit to Magura since receiving Awami League's nomination for the upcoming national polls, was warmly welcomed. He remarked, "I have been playing international cricket for 17 years and received receptions many times. But none of them is bigger than this reception in my life." Acknowledging his political inexperience, he sought guidance from senior leaders to transform Magura into a model district. "I still don't even know the names of all the party posts. I am a class one student in politics. All of them [senior leaders of the district Awami League] have done PhDs in politics. Without their guidance, I can't take a single step forward," he stated.

The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel in Ch

The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel in Chittagong, Bangladesh, has generated an income of Tk4,02,02,850 in the last month, with 170,782 vehicles passing through it.

The tunnel was opened on October 29 and has seen an increase in daily traffic, with up to 10,000 vehicles crossing on weekends and 4,000 to 5,000 on other days. The daily target for vehicular movement through the tunnel is 17,000 vehicles, but this number has not been reached on any day in the past month.

The toll rates for different vehicles include Tk200 for private cars and pickups and Tk4,000 for 20 vehicles in her convoy. The toll-collection process is completed within 30 seconds, with 12 toll booths and manual toll collection.
